Terms of Service

Healthting is a platform that connects patients with doctors and home care nurses, holds your medical record in one place, and provides AI-assisted guidance. We are the platform, not the clinician.

• You must give accurate information, and keep it up to date. On a health platform, a wrong date of birth or a stale medication list is a clinical risk, not an administrative one.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for what happens under your account.
• One account per person. Do not share an account or let someone else use yours.
• You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, or have a parent or guardian acting for you.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is used to harm someone, or that we are legally required to close.

The professional side carries obligations the patient side does not:

• You must hold, and keep current, the qualifications and licence you publish, and you must be permitted to practise where you are treating people.
• Certificates and credentials you upload must be genuine and yours. Publishing a credential you do not hold is grounds for immediate removal, and may be a criminal matter.
• Set working hours you can actually keep. Patients book against them.
• You are responsible for the care you provide, for your own professional insurance, and for meeting the standards of your regulator. Healthting does not supervise clinical practice.
• Treat patient information as confidential, and use it only for the care you were asked to provide.

Booking on Healthting arranges a meeting; it does not guarantee an outcome. Specifically:

• A request is not confirmed until the professional accepts it. They may decline, and they do not have to say why.
• For home nursing, you and the nurse must be connected before a request can be sent. This exists so a nurse can decline before your address and prescription are shared.
• A nursing request may repeat on a schedule you choose, up to an end date you set. Either side can stop a recurring arrangement.
• Attach a prescription only where the care requires one, and only a genuine prescription written for you.
• If you cannot attend, cancel as early as you reasonably can. A nurse travelling to a home visit has committed time to it.

The AI Doctor gives general guidance based on what you tell it and what is in your health profile. It is a triage aid, not a diagnosis, and it can be wrong.

• Never rely on it to decide whether something is an emergency. If you are worried, call your local emergency number or see a doctor.
• It does not prescribe, and it cannot examine you.
• Your description of your symptoms is sent to a third-party provider to generate the answer. See the Privacy Policy for what that means before you use it.

Community posts are public and written by other users, not by clinicians. Treat them as experience, not medical advice.

• Do not post someone else's medical information, or anything that identifies another patient.
• Do not post abuse, harassment, spam, or anything unlawful.
• Do not sell treatments, medication, or services.
• We may remove a post or a user for any of the above.

Do not attempt to access an account or record that is not yours, scrape or bulk-collect data from the platform, interfere with its operation, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or impersonate anyone. If you find a security flaw, report it to support@healthting.com rather than exploiting it.

Creating an account is free, and the platform does not process payments. Any fee a doctor or nurse charges for care is a matter between you and them, settled outside Healthting.

What you upload stays yours. You grant Healthting only the permission needed to store it, show it to you, and share it with the professionals you have connected to, so the platform can function. We do not use your health data to train models, and we do not sell it.

You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, particularly where a document concerns someone other than you.

We aim to keep Healthting running, but we do not guarantee it will be available without interruption. Maintenance, failures, and dependencies outside our control can all take it offline. Do not depend on the platform in a situation where being unable to reach it would be dangerous.

Healthting is responsible for operating the platform. It is not responsible for the clinical judgement, conduct, or availability of the professionals who use it, nor for decisions you make based on AI-generated guidance.

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where we do, we will tell you why unless we are legally prevented from doing so. Closing an account does not remove records we are legally required to keep; the Privacy Policy explains that.

If we change these terms we will update the date at the top. For a material change we will tell you before it takes effect, and continuing to use Healthting afterwards means you accept the new version.
